37801 Sound Effects Storeroom and Library.
Here is where all the sound effects are kept when they are not in use.
There are thousands of different things used in making sound effects.  Typewriters, telephones, horns, cash registers, wash tubs, dishes and many other things are kept here.
The tanks at the left hold air, which is used to make the sound of air brakes and steam and to blow whistles.  The tubs and pans are used to make loud crashes.  Swords and  bats are used to make battle sounds.
A large collection of recorded sound effects are also kept here.  They are kept in order, like a library, and have sound effects that cannot be properly made in the studio.
Slide or Stereograph No. 4 shows both types of sound effects in use.
