Mission
The
Johnson-Shaw
Stereoscopic Museum
collects, preserves and exhibits
stereographic products including equipment, documents and
stereoscopic photography. The collection spans a century
of the stereoscopic industry with primary focus given to
the Keystone
View Company
which emerged as the largest domestic
producer in the industry.
The
Johnson-Shaw
Stereoscopic Museum
will furthermore be a tool for
historians in the study of the stereographic field and provide
important research and educational opportunities.
